One thing I really like about this wedding is that everything wasn’t rushed like a typical chinese wedding. Its a lot more relaxing. The morning preparation began at 10am at the hotel salon. As I stepped it, I was greeted by the ladies. Everyone was having their makeup and hairdo done. It was a busy busy scene. As for the groom and guys, they were preparing in the hotel room, so I made my way there after getting enough shots of the ladies. Upon reaching the groom’s room, the environment was very different. The guys were chilling while the groom were getting his shoes and coat on.
I truly enjoy getting to know how two lives come together as one. Its so enlightening when they tell the guest about their love story in their speeches they make. The stories just makes you feel so happy for them. This wedding was a challenge for me as I was covering it alone with 2 cameras. It can be really stressful when I have to deal with the cameras, audio and running around. However, I am glad I did it.
